The Gerald Marshall Centre for Transportation

As a business partner within the community, Mohawk College recognizes that the Greater Golden Horseshoe is in need of skilled professionals. With a growing gap in the number of skilled professionals retiring and those entering the workforce, Mohawk College is committed to increasing enrolment in apprenticeship programs to suit the needs of the business industry. In 2006, the Marshall family made the single largest donation of $1.2 million, as a lasting tribute to father Gerald Marshall, founder and owner of G. Marshall Transport Ltd. The family continues to raise money for the Gerald Marshall Fund to support the transformation of the Stoney Creek Campus and enhance the college’s Truck and Coach Apprenticeship program.
